Street Feed is a program that helps work to eliminate food insecurity among young people in our community. It is a free meal program offered in downtown Eugene for people ages 16-24.
CORE volunteers use donations and ingredients from local businesses to prepare over 100 meals per month in donated kitchen and serving space. At Street Feed, young people get to enjoy a free hot meal in warm, safe, judgement-free environment.
This is intentionally a low-barrier program with the simple intent of offering basic needs like hot food, hygiene products, and water to young people living in crisis in a way that is kind, dignified, and respectful with no strings attached.
