Street Feed Advocate, Advisory Board
Charli Bowden raised in Eastern Oregon, she relocated to Eugene a couple years ago. She has been working in the social work field for a few years. In addition to being a street feed advocate, she is on CORE’s advisory Board. She loves working with people, and helping people overcome barriers in their lives. Charli has worked with an array of different populations in the social work field. Charli refuses to give up her self care secrets
How/why did you get involved with CORE? I watched Brittiny and Dylan work and slowly started to push my way into CORE and all the dealings. I’ve captured all the secrets and there is nothing they can do about it.
What inspires you? Im inspired by other people. Seeing the perseverance, kindness, and strength of those we work with helps me remember why we do what we do.
What’s your superpower? My superpower is empathy, and the ability to understand where others are coming from. Brittiny also says I am one of the most hilarious humans on the planet.
What are some of your long term goals? I want to continue to grow my career in social work, and continue to reach new and underserved populations.
